Office of the Chief Judge, City Sessions Court, Calcutta is recruiting Copyist-Typist, Typist, Peon, Farash, Night Guard and Sweeper. Eligible candidates may apply on prescribed Application format on or before 7th March 2013. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below. Notification No.45 Dated: 08.02.2013 —

1. Typist-Copiest (Group C): 2 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC-B—1)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass and minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in English.
Pay scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade pay: Rs.2600/-

2. Typist (Group-C) : 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass and minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute in English.
Pay scale: Same as above.

3. Peon Group D: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Class VIII pass.
Pay scale: Rs.4900—16200 and Grade pay: Rs.1700/-

4. Night Guard (Group D): 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Class VIII pass. Candidates must have sound health.
Pay scale: Rs.4900—16200 and Grade pay: Rs.1700/-

5. Sweeper (Group D): 1 Nos. (SC)
Qualification: able to read and write Bengali.
Pay scale: Same as above.

Age Limits: Between 18yrs to 40yrs as on 01-01-2013. Upper age relaxation is as per Govt. norms.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Trade test/typing skill (as applicable).
For the post of Sweeper, candidates’ selection will be on basis of Interview.

Candidates should enclose attested copies (attestation by Gazetted Officer) of testimonials and document in support of eligibility, 2 nos passport size photograph duly signed by the candidates (one in the Application form and other in the Admit Card), One self-addressed envelope (25cmX11cm) without any postal stamp and Indian Postal Order of prescribed amount.

Application fee: Rs. 250/- for the posts under Group-C category and Rs. 150/- for Group-D category (Rs. 75/- & Rs. 50/- respectively for SC/ST candidates only)in form of Indian Postal Order (IPO) favouring – Chief Judge, City Sessions Court, Calcutta and payable at – GPO Kolkata.

Last Date of Application: Application form along with enclosures must reach on or before 7th March, 2013 by Registered Post/ Speed Post or Ordinary post.
The applications may also be dropped at the container/box which will be placed in the ground floor at Bichar Bhawan, 2 & 3, Bankshall Street, Kolkata- 700 001, West Bengal from 18.02.2013 to 07/03/2013.
