Under Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti- Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas is recruiting some Master Degree Boys and Girls for the post of “Post-Graduate Teacher”. Recruitments will be on following subjects—English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, Biology, History, Geography and Commerce. Eligibility of candidates is given below—
Post: Post-Graduate Teacher.
Qualification: Candidates with Post-Graduate in any one of the below mentioned subjects and may have acquired 50% marks as well as should have done B.Ed course, may apply for the post.
Candidate should have ability to teach in English or Hindi. Experience of Teacher in any school and knowledge of operating computer is desirable.

English (Subject code:51)—Master Degree course on English.
Hindi (Subject code:52)—Master Degree course on Hindi
Physics (Subject code :53)—Post Graduate on Applied Physics, Electronic Physics or Nuclear Physics.
Chemistry (Subject code :54)—Post Graduate on Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry.
Mathematics (Subject code :55)—Post Graduate on Mathematics or Applied Mathematics
Economics (Subject code :56)—Post Graduate/Master Degree on Economics, Applied Economics or Business Economics.
Biology (Subject code :57)—Master Degree course on Botany, Zoology, Life Science, Bio-Science, Genetics, Microbiology, Bio-Technology, Molecular Biology or Plant Physiology.
History (Subject code :58)—Master Degree course on History.
Geography (Subject code: 59)—Master Degree on Geography.
Commerce (Subject code :60)—Post Graduate on Accounting/Cost Accounting/ Financial Accounting.
Age limit: Candidate should be within 40yrs of age as on 30-11-2011. Age relaxation: OBC-3yrs, SC/ST-5yrs, PH-10yrs, Govt.Employee-5yrs and Ex-Serviceman- as per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 and Grade pay: Rs.4800
Candidates will be selected through Written Test which will hold on 19th February 2011 at the following centres—Kolkata (code-24), Patna (code-27), Ranchi (29), Bhubaneswar (14) and Guwahati (code-19).
Written Test will be of 3hrs and will consist 240 Nos. questions on following topics—(I) General English (40 marks), (II) General Awareness (30 marks), (III) General Intelligence and Reasoning (30 marks), (IV) Numerical Ability (30 marks), (V) Teaching Methodology (30 marks) and (VI) Knowledge on subject applied for (80 marks).
Posting will be anywhere in India.

Before apply online deposit the exam fee of Rs.500 from any branch of Union Bank of India. SC/ST and PH candidates do not require to deposit any fee. Fee should be deposited through Fee challan. Fee Challan copy can be printed from the official site of Navodaya Vidyalaya.
After depositing the fee candidate can submit the online application form. Candidate should have their own valid email id as well as should make scan copy of their passport size image and Signature.
After submitting the application form, a computer generated form will appear on the screen. Make print-out copy of the generated application and keep safely for further use. There is no need to send any document by post.
