1. Diploma Trainee (Electrical): 07 Nos. (UR-04, OBC-01, SC-02)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum70% marks (Pass marks for SC/ HH-PD categories)
Age Limit: Maximum-27 years as on 29.07.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.16000/- Rs.35500/-
2. Diploma Trainee (Civil): 03 Nos. (UR-02, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum70% marks (Pass marks for SC/ HH-PD categories).
Age Limit: Maximum-27 years as on 29.07.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.16000/- Rs.35500/-
3. Diploma Trainee (Telecom): 04 Nos. (UR-02, OBC-01, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering with minimum 70% marks (Pass marks for SC/ HH-PD categories).
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years as on 29.07.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.16000/- Rs.35500/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test (Part-I and Part-II). Written Test will be held at Kolkata, Siliguri and Gangtok.
Candidates selected for the post will be on training period for one year during which Stipend of Rs.16500/- pm will be paid. After completing training period, candidates will be selected as Junior Engineer.
