Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) is inviting application for 101 posts of “Field Engineer (Electrical/ Telecom)” and “Field Supervisor (Civil/ Telecom)” purely on temporary and contract basis for projects in different districts of Odisha. PGCIL INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 101 POSTS OF FIELD ENGINEER AND FIELD SUPERVISOR ON CONTRACT BASIS. LAST DATE – 25/03/2015
1. Field Engineer (Electrical): 40 posts.
Qualification: BE / B. Tech. / B.Sc. Engg. / BE (Power Engg.) / AMIE in Electrical Discipline with minimum 60% marks.
2. Field Engineer (Telecom): 02 posts.
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc.(Engg.)/AMIE in Electronics and Communication discipline with minimum 60% marks.
3. Field Supervisor (Electrical): 30 posts.
Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
4. Field Supervisor (Civil): 15 posts.
Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks
5. Field Supervisor (Telecom): 14 posts.
Qualification: Diploma Engineering in Electronics and Communication Discipline with minimum 60% marks.
Post Qualification Experience (Applicable to all posts): Applicant should have one year post qualification experience in the field/related field. Experience in PSU/ listed company particularly in Power sector shall be preferred.
Age Limit (For all above posts): Minimum 18yrs and maximum 29yrs as on 25.02.2015. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories will be as per norms. See officially released advertisement for more details.
Selection of the candidates will be through Screening Test/ Interview. Screening test, if conducted and/or interview shall be held at Bhubaneswar only.
The engagement of personnel is purely temporary in nature and on contact basis for a period of 24 months or completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

Application Fee: Rs.300/- for the post of Field Engineer and Rs.200/- for the post of Field Supervisor. Fee is to be paid through any branch of SBI by means of Fee Challan which will be generated automatically upon submission of online application.
No Application Fee for SC/ST/PWD and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
