Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), Western Region Transmission System-II is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 76 posts of Diploma Trainee (Electrical, Civil, Electronics & Communication), Chemist and Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical). 1. Diploma Trainee (Electrical): 50 Nos. (UR-25, OBC-16, SC-08, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 70% marks (Pass marks for SC/ST/PwD Candidates).
Age Limit: Maximum-27 years as on 16.08.2016)
Pay Scale: Rs.16000/- Rs.35500/-

 

2. Diploma Trainee (Civil): 12 Nos. (UR-06, OBC-03, SC-03)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 70% marks (Pass marks for SC/PwD Candidates).
Age Limit: Maximum-27 years as on 16.08.2016)
Pay Scale: Rs.16000/- Rs.35500/-

 

3. Diploma Trainee (Electronics & Communication): 03 Nos. (UR-02, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering with minimum 70% marks (Pass marks for SC/PwD Candidates).
Age Limit: Maximum-27 years as on 16.08.2016)
Pay Scale: Rs.16000/- Rs.35500/-

 

4. Chemist: 01 Nos. (UR-01)
Educational Qualification: Post Graduation Degree in Chemistry. (Full Time Course)
Age Limit: Maximum-28 years as on 16.08.2016)
Pay Scale: Rs.12500/- Rs.27500/-

 

5. Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical): 10 Nos. (UR-04, OBC-02, SC-02, ST-02)
Educational Qualification: ITI (Electrical) pass in Electrician Trade.
Candidate must be physically fit to work on difficult terrain and to climb towers for carrying out maintenance duties on the towers and conductors.
Age Limit: Maximum-27 years as on 16.08.2016)
Pay Scale: Rs.11500/- Rs.26000/-

 

Note: Candidates who are waiting for their final results are also eligible to apply provided they have secured required percentage of marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all semesters/years up to their pre final examination. Such candidates have to submit the final mark sheet at the time of joining.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Trade Test wherever applicable. Written Test will be held at Vadodara (Gujarat), Rajkot (Gujarat), Bhopal (M.P) and Jabalpur (M.P)
