Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Recruitment Cell, is recruiting 86 Lower Division Clerks and Stenographers on Regular basis. Advertisement No. PGI/RC/009/2013. 1. Lower Division Clerks: 71 Nos. (Gen—36; SC—10; ST—05; OBC—18; PH—2)
Post code – LDC/040
Qualification: Class 12 pass or equivalent AND Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-

2. Stenographers: 15 Nos. (Gen—08; SC—02; ST—01; OBC—03; PH—01)
Post code—STENO/041 
Qualification: Class 12 pass or equivalent AND ability to take Dictation at the speed of 80 words per minute in Stenography (English or Hindi) with transcription time of 50 minutes (English) or 65 minutes (Hindi) on computer.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2400/-

Age Limit (for both post): Between 18yrs to 30yrs. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs and OBC—3yrs; Others—as per norms.

Candidates’ Selection: The selection of the candidates will be through Online examination and Skill Test, as applicable. The candidates who qualify the skill test (Stenographic test as stated above) would be called for interview.
The ONLINE examination would be of Two Hours duration and will consist of 170 marks. There will be 120 multiple choice objective type questions.

Date and venue of online examination will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course. Candidates may download their Admit card by entering their Registration Number/application Number, Date of Birth from the website 15 days before the actual date of examination.

Application Fee (for any one of the post): Candidates will have to pay Application Fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates) through any branch of State Bank of India with the fee Payment Challan duly filled in and pay the prescribed Application Fee in the “Power Jyoti” PUL current account of PGIMER. The account No. of PGIMER for recruitment is 32211613319.

After successful submission of online Application form, candidates must print-out the system generated Registration Slip for future correspondence. There is no need to send any hard copy of application or testimonials to PGIMER.
