Indian Navy invites some hundreds of unmarried male and female as Short Service Commissioned Officer (SSC) as “Pilot” and “Observer” in the Executive Branch for the course commencing Dec 2012 at the Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Kerala. Candidates can apply online from the official website of Indian Navy. Details below—
1. Pilot/ Observer
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. Candidates should have studied Mathematic and Physics at 10+2 level
Candidates who are appearing may not apply.
N.B: Candidates who have failed in Pilot Aptitude Battery Test are not eligible for Pilot but can apply of r Observer Entry scheme. For Pilot Entry only Male should apply and for Observer entry both Male and Female can apply.
Age: between 19yrs to 24yrs, i.e must have born between 2/1/1989 to 1/1/1994
Physical Standard: –
Height and Weight: 162.5 cms (for men) and 152 cms (for women) and with correlated weight, leg length, sitting height and thigh length.
Eye sight: 6/6, 6/9 in distant vision and should be correctable to 6/6, 6/6. No color blindness.
There is no relaxation in Physical Standard for SC/ST candidates.
Selection Steps: Selection will be carried by Service Selection Board (SSB). On basis of performance in educational qualification, candidates will be issued a call letter for interview.

On the homepage of the website, there is a link- “Apply Online” choose ‘Officer Entry’ from the option.
Fill the online application form carefully without giving any wrong information. When satisfied, click the ‘submit’ button to submit the application form. after successful submission; a system generated Application Slip with unique Application Number will appear on the screen. Make 2 Nos. print-out copy of the generated application.
One copy of print-out Application form should be singed and need to be sent to the below mentioned address by Ordinary post along with Attested copies of Class 10 and Class 10+2 Certificates & Marksheets and all other educational certificate and Marksheet of all years/ semesters and Self-Attested passport size photograph.
