Qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2)/equivalent
Age: 18- 30 yrs for SC/ST and 18-28 yrs for OBC as on 5.10.2010 after relaxation.
Pay scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs.2400
Last date to apply: Application should reach within 08.12.2010
Test: Aptitude Test will be conducted on 9.1.2011
Where to apply:
Completed application alongwith attested copies of the certificates should be submitted to the officer concerned within 8.12.2010 by Registered Post or Speed post.
The envelope containing the Application should be superscribed in block letters as “APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF SC/ST/OBC POSTAL ASSISTANT/SORTING ASSISTANT IN…………….(name of the division/unit)”.

Prospectus containing eligibility conditions, recruitment procedure, prescribed application form and instructions can be obtained from the selected Post Offices on payment of Rs.25 by cash at the concerned post office counter.
