1. POSTMAN/ MAIL GUARD
No. of Vacancies: 1044 Nos. (Postman- 1029 posts, Mail Guard- 15 posts)
Educational Qualification: i) 12th standard pass from a recognized Board.
ii) Marathi is a local language for the state of Maharashtra and Marathi and Konkani are local language for the state of Goa. Hence,
(a) For selection in Maaharashtra State, the applicant should have studied and passed Marathi language atleast upto 10th standard.
(b) For selection in Goa State, the applicant should have studied and passed Konkani or Marathi language atleast upto 10th standard.
iii) Knowledge of working on Computer.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 03/11/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.21700 — Rs.69100
2. MULTI TASKING STAFF
No. of Vacancies: 327 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) 10th standard pass from a recognized Board.
ii) Marathi is a local language for the state of Maharashtra and Marathi and Konkani are local language for the state of Goa. Hence,
(a) For selection in Maaharashtra State, the applicant should have studied and passed Marathi language atleast upto 10th standard.
(b) For selection in Goa State, the applicant should have studied and passed Konkani or Marathi language atleast upto 10th standard.
iii) Knowledge of working on Computer.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 03/11/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.18000 — Rs.56900
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are in various Divisions/ Units under Maharashtra Postal Circle.
The selected candidates will be on Probation for a period of two years.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Competitive Online Computer Based Test and Data Entry Skill Test. The test will be conducted in various centres in Maharashtra State and Goa. For more details please see the official advt.
