No. of Vacancies: 266 Nos. (UR-158, SC-69, ST-39. Out of the total posts, 11 posts are reserved for PWD and 26 posts for ESM)

Educational Qualification:
i) 12th standard pass from a recognized Board.
ii) Knowledge of local language of the concerned state or UT. The candidate should have studied local language at a least up to 10th standard.
iii) Knowledge of working on computer.
iv) Candidate should have a valid license of two wheeler or light motor vehicle (not required for PWD candidates).
Local Languages:
(i) For West Bengal: Bengali & Nepali
(ii) For Sikkim: Nepali
(iii) For A&N Islands: Hindi & Bengali
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 24/11/2018. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Pay Scale: Rs. 21,700- 36,100/-

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Online Aptitude Test. The Online Aptitude Test will be held in Kolkata, Siliguri, Gangtok, Port Blair, Malda, Durgapur and Burdwan. Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs. 120/- as Application Fee & Rs. 400/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Post Office using fee payment Challan. See officially released advertisement for more details.

The applicant can apply for only one Postal Division / Unit only. Applying for more than one division/unit will lead to rejection of application form.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
