Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, Delhi, is recruiting 53 persons on temporary basis for the posts of – Field Engineering (Civil) and Field Supervisor (Civil/ Electrical) to execute the consultancy service in Jharkhand State for its transmission system. The eligible and interested candidates may apply on prescribed application form within scheduled date. Eligibility norms and etc in brief is given below—
1. Field Engineering (Civil): 7 Nos. (Gen—6; OBC—1). Post code—07
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Bsc. (Engg.)/AMIE in Civil discipline with minimum 55% marks
Post Qualification: One year in design Engineering of 132 KV and above substations/ Transmission lines/ Civil works and etc.
2 Field Supervisor-(Civil): 24 Nos. (Gen—14; OBC—4; SC—3; ST—3; PH—1). Post code—24
Qualification: Diploma Engineering in Civil Discipline and One year Post Qualification Experience of construction, testing and commissioning activities of 132 kV & above HVAC transmission system
3. Field Supervisor (Electrical): 22 Nos. (Gen—13; OBC—4; SC—3; ST—02; PH—1)
Qualification: Diploma Engineering in Electrical Discipline and One year Post Qualification Experience of construction, testing and commissioning activities of 132 kV & above HVAC transmission system
Age limits: Candidates must be minimum 18yyrs and maximum 29yrs as on 17/09/2012. Upper age relaxation as per norms.
Selection of candidates will be through Written Test (Objective type multiple choice) and Personal Interview.
Screening Test will be held at Ranchi (Jharkhand ). Exact date and venue will be intimated through Admit card to the eligible candidates. Tentative date of Screening test is – 14th October 2012.
Job will be on temporary basis for 2 years or till the project is completed, whichever is earlier.
Application fee: Rs.200 for the posts in Field Engineering and Rs.100 for the posts in Field Supervisor. Application fee should in form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of – “POWER GRID CORPORATION OF INDIA LTD.” Payable at PATNA (preferably drawn on State Bank of India).
Application fee is exempted in case of SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman and PH candidates.
How to Apply: Application is to made on prescribed application form. The application form should be enclosed with Demand Draft of above prescribed amount (If candidates is exempted from application fee then they should enclose attested copy of Caste certificate/PH certificate/ Discharge certificate, as applicable). Candidates should write their name and address at the reverse side of bank draft. Do not enclose any other documents with the Application Form. paste one self-attested passport size photograph on the Application Form.
