Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) is recruiting 132 Executive Trainee (Electrical) 19th Batch. Interested and eligible candidates may apply Online through the official website of PGCIL. Selection of the candidates will be through Group Discussion and Interview. Candidates will be shortlisted on basis of performance in GATE-2014. Qualification norms and brief details are given below —
EXECUTIVE TRAINEE (ELECTRICAL)
Number of Vacancies: 132 Nos. (Gen—68; OBC—35; SC—20; ST—09)
Educational Qualification: Full time B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg) in discipline of Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical & Electronics/ Power System Engineering with minimum 65% marks or equivalent (pass mark for SC/ST/PWD) OR AMIE in the discipline of Electrical with minimum 65% (pass mark for SC/St/PWD) with both Sectionss A & B.
Essential Requirement: Candidate should have appeared in the EE paper of GATE 2014 and Qualified in the same. The qualifying marks shall be as declared by GATE 2014 Organizing Body.
Age Limit: 19 to 28 years as on 31.12.2013. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Candidates will be shortlisted on basis of EE paper of GATE – 2014. Such candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Group Discussion and Personal Interview are likely to be conducted from the last week of April 2014 onwards.

Candidates will require to mention their GATE 2014 Registration Number in the online application. Name and other details shall be exactly as mention in GATE Admit card.
Upon completion, the candidate should submit the online application by clicking the Submit button at the bottom of the page. If the same is accepted, the system will generate a unique POWERGRID Registration Number which shall appear in the completed application form.
Candidate should take a print out of the completed application, affix his/her recent passport size photograph, put his/ her signature at the space provided and keep with him/ her safely for future reference. DO NOT SEND IT TO POWER GRID AT THIS STAGE.
