POWERGRID, WESTERN REGION TRANSMISSION SYSTEM-I INVITES APPLICATION FOR 15 POSTS OF DIPLOMA TRAINEE (ELECTRICAL/ CIVIL). LAST DATE — 27/06/2015
1. Diploma Trainee (Electrical): 11 Nos. (Gen—06 and ST—06) out of total vacancies, 01 is reserved for PWD candidates.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 70% marks for GEN; OBC; SC candidates and Pass marks for ST and PWD (HHPD/ OH-OL).
Stipend: Rs. 16,500/- per month during training period. On successful completion of training to be regularized as Junior Engineer Gr-IV (S1) in the Pay Scale: ` Rs.16000/- to Rs.35500/- per month.
2. Diploma Trainee (Civil): 04 Nos. (Gen—02 and ST—02)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 70% marks for GEN; OBC; SC candidates and Pass marks for ST and PWD candidates.
Stipend: Rs. 16,500/- per month during training period. On successful completion of training to be regularized as Junior Engineer Gr-IV (S1) in the Pay Scale: ` Rs.16000/- to Rs.35500/- per month.
Age Limit (for both posts): Maximum 27 years. The age will be counted as on 27/06/2015. Upper age relaxation for ST – 5yrs and PWD- 10yrs; and Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Personal Interview. The Written Test centers will be held at Nagpur, Raipur and Pune.
Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.
