Punjab PSC Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:- The candidate’s minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 37 years.

Upper Age Relaxation:

i) The upper age limit may be relaxed up to 45 years for employees of the Punjab Government, employees of its Boards/Corporations/Commissions and Authorities, and all State/Central Government employees.

ii) The upper age limit for SC and BC in Punjab has been relaxed up to 42 years.

iii) An ex-serviceman of Punjab domicile shall be allowed to deduct his period of service in the Union Armed Forces from his actual age and the resulting age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for direct recruitment to such vacancies in the service. More than three years concerned rule, he shall be deemed to have fulfilled the age limit condition.

iv) The upper age limit has been relaxed up to 42 years for widows, divorcees, and certain other categories of women.

v) The upper age limit for “PwD” in Punjab has been relaxed to 47 years.

i) The procedure for selecting candidates for 300 posts of Veterinary Officer (Group A) in the Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development Department, Government of Punjab will be as per the following details:-

Punjab PSC Recruitment 2024 Mode of Examination

The examination is pen and paper-based, to be answered on the specially designed machine gradable OMR sheet using a ballpoint pen.

PPSC Recruitment 2024 How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) (See the Application form’s link given below).

Candidates have to apply online only through the www.ppsc.gov.in website. No other mode of application will be accepted.

Upon successful payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print out it for future correspondence. All the verification will be done in due course.

Only those candidates who apply for scribe under the “Persons with Disabilities” category must submit hard copies of the ‘Online Application Form’ along with Disability Certificate issued by the competent authority by post or by email at veterinaryofficer300@gmail.com or by hand at the reception counter of PPSC by 28.03.2024.
