No. of Vacancies: 38 Nos. (UR-15 (01 post for Banarhat Kartik Oraon Hindi Govt. College), SC-11, ST-03, OBC-07, PWD-02)
Educational Qualification: i) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in) from a recognized University.
ii) A Ph.D. degree in concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline(s) in the Institution concerned with evidence of published work and research guidance.
iii) A minimum score stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) set out in the U.G.C. regulation 2010. For more details please see the Official Advt.
iv) Proficiency, spoken and written, in Bengali and English are required for all Colleges except Banarhat Kartik Oraon Hindi College where Bengali, Hindi and English are required.

Age Limit: Minimum 40 years and maximum 55 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.37400 — Rs.67000
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and upto 45 years for PWD category. Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Note:-
i) A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the Master’s level for SC/ ST/ PWD/ OBC candidates and for For Phd Degree holders who have obtained their Masters degree prior to Sept.,19, 1991.
ii) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali is an essential qualification for the above post (not applicable for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).
