No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos. (For Principal Seat: 06 posts (OBC/MOBC-03, SC-01, ST-02) & For Law Research Institute: 01 post (UR))
Educational Qualification:
i) Bachelors degree from a recognized University with a Diploma in Stenography in English with minimum speed of 120 wpm in Shorthand and 50 wpm on a Computer.
ii) Due weightage will be given to Law Graduate.
Age Limit: Maximum 38 years as on 19/08/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.30000-110000/- with Grade Pay Rs.13300/-
The vacancies are in the Principal Seat of the Gauhati High Court and in the Law Research Institute, Gauhati High Court.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PWD category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Stenography Test (Dictation & Transcription), Written Examination and Viva Voce/ Interview.
