Recruitment of Probationary Officer in Bank of Baroda : Officers’ Recruitment Project-2011. For Graduate Pass Candidates.

Central Government of India Enterprise-Bank of Baroda is recruiting 900 Probationary Officer. No. of post may increase to 1200. Graduate pass candidates in any stream can apply for the post. Should have done computer course from any recognized institute or training center and have good skill in M.S. Office and Internet. Below given were the required qualification and age limit of the candidates.

Name of Post: Probationary Officers in JMGS-1

No. of Vacancies:  900 posts (GEN- 450; OBC- 236; SC- 142; ST- 72). Among them 27 seats were reserved for PWD candidates.

Qualification: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University OR any equivalent qualification recognized by central government of India. Should possess a certificate in Computer Training (proficiency skill in MS Office, Basic Application, Internet usage and etc)

Age Limit: Candidates applying for the post should be between 21-30 yrs as on 1.1.2011 (Relaxable age for OBC: 3yrs; SC/ST: 5yrs; PH: 10yrs)

Pay: Rs. 14500 to Rs.25700 per month.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be on basis of performance in Written Test and interview. Eligible candidates will be required to appear for the written test comprising Objective Test on Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Socio-Economic & Banking Awareness, English and Marketing Aptitude.
There will be negative marks on wrong answers. Applicants will be provided more information on examination through call letters. The date of written test is tentatively fixed as 13.3.11.

The written test will held at the following centres and the address of the venue will be advised in the call letters.

Short listed candidates from the written test will be called for Interviews

Application Fee: Candidates will have to pay Rs.300 as application fee which is non-refundable. SC/ST/PWD candidates need to pay Rs.50 only as postage. Candidates should pay this fee through Fees Payment Challan only. The challan is available for download from the official website of Baroda Bank.

How to Apply: Candidates should have to apply through Online only by directly visiting the Official Website at: www.bankofbaroda.com. There is no any other means available for application submission except Online process. The candidates should have their own valid e-mail address; if not then they can create a new e-mail id by visiting website like Yahoo or Google.
After visiting the website, first make a printout of Fees Payment Challan. Fill the challan in a clear and legible handwriting in Block Letters and then go nearest branch of Bank of Baroda to pay the fees. The fees should be deposit in the a/c no: 29040200000198 with Bandra Kurla Complex Branch, Mumbai, in favour of “Bank of Baroda OFFICERS’ RECRUITMENT PROJECT 2011-12”
After paying the fees, candidates should re visit the website and then fill-up the application with fees details and finally click the submit button.

Some important notes to the candidates:

  • Candidates should keep the original counterfoil of the fee payment challan carefully and make zerox of it. It should be produced during Interview.
  • Candidates should clearly, without spelling mistake, mention the Name of Father, Date of Birth and etc. This should tally with the original documents during Interview otherwise will cause cancellation.
  • Candidates should bring original documents such as Educational certificates, caste certificate, Computer certificate and etc along with Attested copies during Interview.
