PROBATIONARY OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 2000 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification. Candidates who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply. Candidates possessing qualification of Chartered Accountant may also apply.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/04/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.23700 — Rs.42020
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The selected candidates will be on Probation for two years.
Candidates’ Selection: The selection process will be held in three phases viz. (i) Phase-I: Preliminary Examination, (ii) Phase-II: Main Examination and (iii) Phase-III: Interview (Or Interview and Group Exercises). The Online Preliminary Examination will be held on 31st December, 2020 and 2nd, 4th, 5th January, 2021. The Online Main Examination will be held on 29th January, 2021 and Interview (Or Interview and Group Exercises) will be held in February/ March 2021. The examinations will be conducted online at venues across many centres in India. For more details please see the official advt.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO STATE BANK OF INDIA (SBI) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
