National Institute for the Orthopaedically Handicapped (NIOH), Kolkata, is conducting a Walk-in-Interview for the post of “Senior Professional Trainee (Academic)—(OT/ P&O)”, “Professional Trainee (PT/ OT)” and “Professional Trainee (P&O)”. Interested and Eligible candidates should have to appear in the Walk-In-Interview on 26/6/2012 (2PM) with bio-data and documents. Brief details given below. No. EMP-NOTIFICATION/2012/NIOH/2144(4) —
1. Senior Professional Trainee (Academic)-OT: 2 Nos.
For 1st year-01 and 3rd year-01
Qualification: Recognized PG Degree (MOT/M. Sc. OT) from a recognized college/University Good academic record & research aptitude shall be preferred.
Pay Scale: Rs.15000, Rs.16000 and Rs.17000 during 1st, 2nd and 3rd year.
2. Senior Professional Trainee (Academic)-P&O : 03 Nos.
(For 1st year-02 and 3rd year-01)
Qualification: Recognized PG Degree (MPO/M. Sc. P&O) from a recognized college/University. Good academic record & research aptitude shall be preferred.
Pay scale: Same as above.
3. Professional Trainee (PT) : 02 nos.
Qualification: BPT/Diploma with experience. To work with team, assess and provide services to pts, attend camp, maintain /analyse submit reports using LAN.
Pay scale: Rs.10,000 per month.
4. Professional Trainee (OT) : 02 Nos.
Qualification : BOT/Diploma with experience. To work with team, assess and provide services to pts, attend camp, maintain /analyse submit reports using LAN.
pay scale: Same as above.
5. Professional Trainee (P&O) : 02 Nos.
Qualification: BPO/Diploma with experience. To design, develop, fabricate assistive aid, organize camp, record maintenance and analysis.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
- The engagement (Sl. No. 01 & 02) shall be for one year initially, extendable for three years subject to satisfactory performance.
- The engagement will be for fixed tenure without any claim for regularization and is under project ‘learn & earn for career growth’.
- The Senior Professional Trainee (Academic) are teaching jobs equivalent to Junior Lecturer.
- Candidates with academic, research and target oriented aptitude shall be preferred.
- The knowledge of computer and team approach is necessary for the Sr. Professional Trainees (Academic) /Professional Trainees.
- Working will be for six days in a week.
- Temporary out station duties may be given as and when needed.
- Reservation as per Govt. of India rules.
- Institute reserves the right to accept or reject any application without giving any reasons.
