Educational Qualification:
(A) For all subjects (except Librarian and Functional English):-
i) Master’s Degree from a recognized University in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade (relaxable by 5% in case of SC/ ST/ PWD candidates).
ii) Clearing of National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/ SLET/ SET.
iii) Candidates who are, or have beed awarded a Ph.D Degree shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/ SLET/ SET. For more details please see the Official Advt.
iv) NET/ SLET/ SET shall not be required for such Masters Degree Programmes in disciplines for which NET/ SLET/ SET accredited test is not conducted.
(B) For Librarian subject:- A Master’s degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade (relaxable by 5% for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates).
(C) For Functional English subject:- M.A (English) with PGDTE and NET OR M.A (English with Linguistics/ ELT/ ELS/ ESL specialization and NET.
(D) For Physics (for PG Programme):- Ph.D in Physics with specialization in Electronics.
(E) For Mathematics (for PG Programme):- Ph.D in pure Mathematics.
