(I) PROJECT NAME: “ANALYSIS OF TECHNOLOGY ADOPTED IN WATER TREATMENT UNITS IN BIHAR & ADEQUACY OF OPERATION & MAINTENANCE”.
1.(A) PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL-II
Educational Qualification: B. Tech/ B.E in Environment Engineering/ Water Resource Engineering/ Hydraulic Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology with minimum 55% marks.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25,000/- per month.
(B) PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL-III
Educational Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech (Chemical Engg./Civil Engg.) with minimum 55% marks and 02 years experience.
OR
M.Tech/ M.E in Environment Engineering/ Water Resource Engineering/ Hydraulic Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology with minimum 55% marks.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 28,000/- per month.
(II) PROJECT NAME: “PREDICTIVE APPROACH FOR EARLY DETECTION OF CONTAMINANT ZONE IN INTERMITTENT AND CONTINUOUS WATER SUPPLY SYSTEMS AND HEALTH IMPACTS”.
2. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW/ JUNIOR PROJECT FELLOW
Educational Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech in Civil Engineering (NET/ GATE Qualified) with minimum 55% marks.
Desired Qualification: Specialization in AutoCAD, Hydraulic modelling software like WaterGEMs.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25,000/- per month.
(III) PROJECT NAME: “LOCAL TREATMENT OF URBAN SEWAGE STREAMS FOR HEALTHY REUSE (LOTUS)”.
3.(A) JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW/ JUNIOR PROJECT FELLOW
Educational Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech in Chemical Engg. Technology with 55% marks and NET/ GATE qualified.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years.

(B) SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW/ SENIOR PROJECT FELLOW
Educational Qualification: M. Tech/ M.E in Chemical Engg./ Chemical Technology/ Biochemical Engineering with minimum 55% marks and NET/ GATE qualified.
OR
M. Sc- Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology (NET/ GATE qualified) with additional 02 years’ experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 32 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 28,000/- per month.
(IV) PROJECT NAME: “HYDRO GEOLOGY STUDY FOR PATRATU THERMAL POWER STATION STAGE-I (3X800MW)”.
4. PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL-II
Educational Qualification: M.Sc (Geology/ Geophysics) with minimum 55% marks.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25,000/- per month.
(V) PROJECT NAME: “UNDERSTANDING CRITICAL ZONE STRUCTURE: WRJ- 1 CRITICAL ZONE OBSERVATORY”.
5. PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL-III
Educational Qualification: M.E./ M. Tech (Remote Sensing & GIS/ Geoinfomatics/ Geomatics) with minimum 55% marks.
Desired Qualification: Experience of working with ERDAS/ENVI and Arc GIS.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 28,000/- per month.
(VI) PROJECT NAME: “ASH CHARACTERIZATION, ITS LEACHABILITY, HYDROLOGICAL AND WATER QUALITY IN AND AROUND ASH FIELD SOUTH BALANDA MINE VOID”.
6. PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL-III
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. (Geology/ Geophysics) with minimum 55% marks and 02 years’ experience.
OR
M.E/ M.Tech (Geology/ Geophysics) with minimum 55% marks.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 28,000/- per month.
The candidates will be appointed on purely Temporary basis under the externally funded sponsored project undertaken by National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI).
