CSIR- CENTRAL GLASS & CERAMIC RESEARCH INSTITUTE (CGCRI) WILL CONDUCT WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR 02 POSTS OF PROJECT ASSISTANT-II. WALK-IN DATE — 18/09/2019
I. PROJECT TITLE: “DEVELOPMENT OF FIBER BRAGG GRATING BASED SENSORS AND INTERROGATION SYSTEM FOR MEASUREMENT OF DIRECT BLAST PRESSURE AND BLAST INDUCED STRAIN IN STRUCTURES”.
1. PROJECT ASSISTANT-II
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (Tenure: Initially 1 Year, likely to be extended upto 25.09.2021, depending upon satisfactory performance of the candidate Or Co-terminus with the duration of the project, whichever is earlier)
Educational Qualification: i) M.Sc in Electronics/ Optics/ Opto-Electronics with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/ DGPA.
OR
BE/ B.Tech in Applied Optics/ Optoelectronics/ Photonics/ Electronics/ Instrumentation or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/ DGPA.
ii) Preference will be given to those candidates, having 1st Class Degree.
Desirable: Experience in the optical fibers and optical fiber based sensors.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 09.09.2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25,000/- per month.
II. PROJECT TITLE: “100W CW/MODULATED THULIUM FIBRE LASER AT 1.94µM FOR EFFICIENT ISSUE VAPORIZATION AND AT 2.05µM FOR STRATEGIC APPLICATION”.
2. PROJECT ASSISTANT-II
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (Tenure: upto 31.03.2020, Or Co-terminus with the duration of the project, whichever is earlier)
Educational Qualification: i) M.Sc in Physics with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/ DGPA.
OR
BE/ B.Tech in Electronics & Communication/ Opto-Electronics or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA/ DGPA.
ii) Preference will be given to those candidates, having 1st Class Degree.
Desirable: Laser physics, fiber laser/ amplifier, nonlinear optics.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 09.09.2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25,000/- per month.
The vacancies under different Projects at CSIR- Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute (CGCRI), Kolkata. The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis.
