CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CERI) is recruiting eligible candidates for 07 posts of Project Assistant-I/ II/ III and Junior Research Fellow (P). The vacancies are under various Projects on Temporary basis initially for a period of Six (06) months, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the tenure of the project/ satisfactory performance or conduct of the candidate. 1. PROJECT ASSISTANT-I
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST).
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.15, 000/- per month.
2. PROJECT ASSISTANT-II
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST).
Desirable: Experience in theoretical studies.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25,000/- per month.
3. PROJECT ASSISTANT-II
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST).
Desirable: Working experience in the field of Electrochemical reduction of CO2.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25,000/- per month.
4. PROJECT ASSISTANT-II
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: B.E in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST).
Desirable: Testing and Fabrication of Li-ion battery.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25,000/- per month.
5. PROJECT ASSISTANT-III
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Tech in Materials Technology/ Metallurgical Engineering/ Materials Engineering with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST).
Desirable: GATE qualified candidates may be preferable.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.28,000/- per month.
6. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (P)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech or M.E/ M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Nanoscience & Nanotechnology/ Polymer Science and Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering / Biochemical Engineering with 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST) with NET/ GATE.
Desirable: Prior research experience in synthesis of porous materials, solid- gas reactions and gas separation will be an added advantage.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.31,000/- per month.
NOTE- Final Year/ Semester students awaiting results are not eligible to apply.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/PH/Women and 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview. If the number of candidates are more, the candidates will be short-listed for Interview through a Written Test.
