CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum is recruiting eligible candidates for 19 posts of Project Assistant and Research Associate. The vacancies are for various time-bound projects in different schemes. The candidates will be appointed on Temporary basis initially for a period of One Year/ Six Months, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the Project or performance of the candidate. CSIR-INDIAN INSTITUTE OF PETROLEUM WILL CONDUCT WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR 19 POSTS OF PROJECT ASSISTANT AND RESEARCH ASSOCIATE. WALK-IN DATE — On 10/06/2019 and 11/06/2019
1. PROJECT ASSISTANT-II
No. of Vacancies: 13 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. (Chemistry) with 55% marks.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25000/- per month.
2. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE-I
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D-Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 36000/- per month.
3. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE-I
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D.(Biochemical Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology).
OR
M.E/ M.Tech. with 55% marks in Biochemical Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology with a minimum of 02 years experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 36000/- per month.
4. PROJECT ASSISTANT-II
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering) with 55% marks.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25000/- per month.
5. PROJECT ASSISTANT-III
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.E./ M.Tech (Chemical Engineering) with 55% marks.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 28000/- per month.
Note:- NET or GATE qualified candidates will be preferred.
Age of the candidates will be calculated as on date of Walk-in-Interview.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview. However, Written Examination may be conducted for screening, if required.
