Educational Qualification: B.Sc. with not less than 55% of marks and knowledge in Computer Operation.

B.Sc in Physics/ Maths with not less than 55% of marks and knowledge in MS Office/ MATLAB.
OR
B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) with not less than 55% of marks and experience in field/ lab work.

4. PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL-II/ III

Educational Qualification:
i) Project Assistant Level-II:-
Master’s Degree in Physics with not less than 55% of marks.

Master’s Degree in Geophysics with not less than 55% of marks.
ii) Project Assistant Level-III:-
Master’s Degree in Physics with not less than 55% of marks plus 02 years post qualification experience.
OR

Age Limit: Maximum 30 years (for Level-II) and Maximum 35 years (for Level-III).

5. PROJECT SCIENTIST (R-2)/ RESEARCH ASSOCIATE-I

Educational Qualification: Ph.D in Geophysics.

Ph.D in Applied Hydrology/ Water Resources/ Physics/ Earth Sciences or equivalent.
Age Limit: Below 40 years (for Project Scientist) and Maximum 35 years (for Research Associate-I).
Consolidated Pay: Rs.56100-67300/- OR Rs.36,000/- per month.
6. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE-I/ PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL-III
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification:
i) Research Associate-I:- Ph.D in Geophysics.
ii) Project Assistant Level-III:- Master’s Degree in Geophysics with not less than 55% of marks plus 02 years post qualification experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.36,000/- OR Rs.28,000/- per month.
7. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE-II
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D in Atmospheric Physics/ Physics.
Experience: Two years post-qualification experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.38,000/- per month.

Age of the candidates will be calculated as on the date of Interview. The vacancies are under various Projects. The candidates will be appointed on Temporary basis.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview. The Interview will be held on 13th & 14th June, 2019 at CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI), Uppal Road, Hyderabad– 500007. In case the number of candidates are more, then the candidates will be shortlisted based on Academic Qualification and/ or Experience and/ or by holding Written Test.
