Region (RMRCNE) is recruiting 06 Project Assistant (Field Investigator), Project Technician III (Laboratory Technician for Field), Project Technician III (Laboratory Technician for IRL) and Data Entry Operator (Grade B). The vacancies are for Tuberculosis Prevalence Survey on Contract basis initially for Six (06) months or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier. 1. PROJECT ASSISTANT (FIELD INVESTIGATOR)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Science from a recognized university with 03 years experience.
OR
Master’s degree in relevant subject from a recognized University.
Desirable: i) Master’s degree in Epidemiology/ Public Health/ Medical Social Work/ Science subject.
ii) Experience in field level data collection.
iii) Experience in RNTCP program.
iv) Experience in conducting Census and field surveys.
v) Knowledge Computer applications.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 29/10/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.31000 per month
2. PROJECT TECHNICIAN III (LABORATORY TECHNICIAN FOR FIELD)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC)
Educational Qualification: 12th pass in science subjects with any one of the following:-
i) Two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
OR
ii) One year Diploma in Med Laboratory Technology with one year laboratory experience in a recognised organization/ institution.
OR
iii) Two years laboratory experience in a government recognised organisation/ institution.
Note:- B.Sc., degree will be treated as three years experience.
Desirable: i) Experience in culture (solid and liquid) and DST for mycobacterium tuberculosis.
ii) One year experience in RNTCP as LT.
iii) Past experience of working in an Intermediate Reference Laboratory or National Reference Laboratory for Tuberculosis.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 29/10/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.18000 per month
3. PROJECT TECHNICIAN III (LABORATORY TECHNICIAN FOR IRL)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-01, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: 12th pass in science subjects with any one of the following:-
i) Two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.

4. DATA ENTRY OPERATOR (GRADE B)

Educational Qualification: i) Intermediate or 12th pass in science stream from a recognized Board with DOEACC “A” level from a recognized Institute and/ or 02 years’ experience in EDP working Government, Autonomous, PSU or any other recognized organization.
ii) A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 29/10/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.18000 per month
The vacancies are for Tuberculosis Prevalence Survey on Contract basis initially for Six (06) months or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier. Preference will be given to those having working experience in National Health Surveys/ similar activities.
The candidates are expected to know Hindi/ Assamese/ English language (Other North Eastern Languages is an additional advantage).
The selected candidates will be working in Assam and other North Eastern States.
