CSIR – Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP) is inviting application for 11 posts of Senior Project Associate, Project Associate-I and Laboratory Assistant. The vacancies are for COVID-19 testing Projects and various time-bound projects in different schemes. The candidates will be appointed on Temporary basis initially for a period of Six (06) Months/ One (01) Year depending upon the project requirement, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the Project/ desired level performance or conduct of the candidate, as the case may be. 1. SENIOR PROJECT ASSOCIATE

No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.

Educational Qualification: M.Sc/ M.Tech. in Biotechnology/ Virology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ M.VSc. from a recognized University with 04 years of experiences in molecular biology work.
OR
Doctoral degree in Biotechnology/ Virology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ M.VSc. from recognized University with experience in molecular biology techniques
OR
MD/ MS from recognized University with experience in molecular biology techniques.

Desirable: At least 01 year hands on experience of handling of RNA/ DNA, Real-Time PCR, Handling of viral cultures/ Clinical specimen.

Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 20/04/2020.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.42000 per month

 

2. PROJECT ASSOCIATE-I

No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos.

Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Virology/ M.VSc. from recognized University.

Desirable: At least 01 year hands on working experience in R&D, hospital/ pathology, Knowledge of molecular biology techniques.

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 20/04/2020.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.31000 per month

 

3. PROJECT ASSOCIATE-I

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.

Educational Qualification: M.Sc in Chemistry.

Desirable: At least 01 year experience in working with a bench scale Pressure Swing Adsorber (PSA) unit for gas mixture separation studies.

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 20/04/2020.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.31000 per month

 

4. LABORATORY ASSISTANT

No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos.

Educational Qualification: B.Sc. OR 03 years Diploma in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Virology/ Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized University.

Desirable: At least 01 year hands on working experience in R&D sector/ hospital/ pathology.

Age Limit: Maximum 50 years as on 20/04/2020.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.20000 per month

 

The vacancies are for COVID-19 testing Projects and various time-bound projects in different schemes. Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Online Interview through Skype. The shortlisted candidates will be invited for Online-Interview through Skype on 20/04/2020 from 09:00 AM onwards. Skype Interview may continue on 21/04/2020 depending upon the resonse of the candidates.
