INDIAN STATISTICAL INSTITUTE (ISI KOLKATA) IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 10 PROJECT LINKED PERSONNEL. LAST DATE — 08/09/2020
1. PROJECT LINKED PERSONNEL (equivalent to the position of Project Linked Post- Doctoral-Fellow-cum-Lecturer/ Assistant Professor)
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Ph.D. (Computer Science) with specialization in Cryptology.
ii) More than 02 years of research experience in a core cryptographic research lab.
iii) A first class or equivalent at the preceding degree with a very good academic record throughout.
iv) An excellent publication track record.
v) Desirable: Experience in leading independent projects in cryptographic research and guiding junior members.
OR
i) Ph.D. (Physics) with post-Ph.D. experience in the field of quantum information/ quantum computation as evident from high quality publications in refereed journals.
ii) Prior experience of working in an optics based lab environment and familiarity with handling and analyzing experimental data.
iii) A first class or equivalent at the preceding degree with a very good academic record throughout.
iv) An excellent publication track record.
v) Desirable: Experience in leading independent projects in quantum information/ quantum computation and guiding junior members.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 24/08/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.65000 — Rs.120000 per month.
2. PROJECT LINKED PERSONNEL (equivalent to the position of Project Linked Post- Doctoral Fellow)
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. (Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Electronics & Comm.) with specialization in Cryptology/ Coding Theory.
Experience: More than 02 years of research experience in a research lab of related field or reputed institute.
Desirable: Capable of managing the execution of a large-scale project.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 24/08/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.39000 — Rs.65000 per month.
3. PROJECT LINKED PERSONNEL (equivalent to the position of Senior Research Engineer)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science, M.E./ M.Tech. in Computer Science.
Experience: Five years of experience in crypto/ security related government projects.
Desirable: Large software development experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 24/08/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.32000 — Rs.65000 per month.
4. PROJECT LINKED PERSONNEL (equivalent to the position of Junior Research Engineer or Programmer)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent discipline.
ii) Proficiency in C programming language in Unix/ Linux environment.
Desirable: Knowledge in the field of Cryptology & Security; Practical experience in using LabVIEW or similar open source software.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 24/08/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25000 — Rs.39000 per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. norms.
