The vacancies are in the project entitled, “Design and Development of opinion mining and sentiment analysis of social Media Content to assess security threats” at the department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati. The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis for a period of Nine (09) months/ Seven (07) months. IIT GUWAHATI, RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SECTION WILL CONDUCT WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR 08 POSTS OF PROJECT FELLOW, ASSISTANT PROJECT ENGINEER AND SENIOR PROJECT TECHNICIAN. WALK-IN DATE — 17/07/2019
1. PROJECT FELLOW
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) M.Tech in CSE/ IT or BE/Tech in CSE/ IT with two years of working experience or MCA with two years of working experience.
ii) Candidates with an experience on sentiment analysis/ opinion mining or social network analysis will be given preference.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.31000/- per month.
2. ASSISTANT PROJECT ENGINEER
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) B.E/ B.Tech in CS/ IT OR MCA.
ii) Candidate with an experience of Spark and NoSQL will be given preference.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.28500/- per month.
3. SENIOR PROJECT TECHNICIAN
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in CSE/ IT.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.15000/- per month.
