ICMR- National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT) is recruiting 05 Project Technician III (Field Worker) and Project Technician III (Field Worker)- PFT (Respiratory Therapy Technician). The vacancies are under different Projects implemented by ICMR- National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT). The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis initially for a period of One (01) year which may be renewed after every specific period of time subject to satisfactory performance of candidates and project requirement. 1. PROJECT TECHNICIAN III (FIELD WORKER)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (Chennai)
Educational Qualification: 12th Pass in science subjects.
Experience: Two years field experience in a Govt. recognized organisation/ Institution.
Note:- B.SC degree will be treated as 03 years’ experience.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Application and Data Entry field experience in TB Programme.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.18000 per month
2. PROJECT TECHNICIAN III (FIELD WORKER)- PFT (RESPIRATORY THERAPY TECHNICIAN)
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (Vellore-01, Chennai-01, Madurai-01)
Educational Qualification: 12th Pass in science subjects and two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or Diploma in Respiratory Therapy or one year DMLT plus one year required experience in a recognized organization in spirometry/ respiratory therapy.
Note:- B.SC degree will be treated as 03 years’ experience.
Desirable: i) Diploma in Respiratory therapy or Equivalent.
ii) Experience in using spirometry techniques.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.18000 per month
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. norms.
