Women & Chld Development and Social Welfare Department of West Bengal, Women Welfare Branch- Kolkata, is recruiting 6 Nos., preferably Women, in the post of “Protection Officer” in different district of West Bengal on contract basis. Eligibility criteria is given below in brief—
Post: Protection Officer
No. of vacancy: 6 Nos. (May increase)
Qualification: Candidates should have done Master Degree in Social Work (M.S.W.) or Graduate in Law from any recognised University.
Desirable— basic computer knowledge is desirable.
Experience required: Minimum 3 yrs of experience in Social service/ welfare sector particularly in issues relating to women.
Age: Should be within 45yrs as on 1/4/2012.
FFC Counsellors who meets the above mentioned criteria may also apply.
Appointment will be on contract basis which will be of 3 years. Contract will be terminated if candidates do not give satisfactory performance during in service.
Pay Scale: Rs.12000 per month and T.A. – Rs.2000 (maximum)
Selection steps: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Test and Interview. date and exact venue of written test/ interview will intimated to the candidates through call letters.
