1. INSPECTOR OF FACTORIES IN WEST BENGAL FACTORIES SERVICE UNDER THE LABOUR DEPARTMENT, GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL.
Number of Vacancies: 5 Nos. (Gen—2; SC—1; ST—2)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent; and (ii) At least 5 (five) years experience in an Engineering Workshop or Plant of repute.
Age: Maximum 35 yrs.
2. GENERAL MANAGER, DISTRICT INDUSTRIES CENTRE / DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF MICRO & SMALL SCALE ENTERPRISES UNDER DIRECTORATE OF MICRO & SMALL SCALE ENTERPRISES, WEST BENGAL
Number of Vacancies: 3 Nos. (Gen—1; SC—1; ST—1)
Educational Qualification: (i) Degree in Engineering / Technology or a second class Master’s Degree in Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Statistics/Economics/Commerce or equivalent qualifications from a recognised University/Institute, (ii) 5 (five) years’ experience in a responsible post in the working and development of Cottage & Small Scale Industries, relaxable at the Commission’s discretion in exceptional cases & (iii) Knowledge of Bengali – spoken & written.
Age: Maximum 40yrs.
3. JOINT DIRECTOR, UNDER ANIMAL RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
Number of Vacancies: 1 Nos. (ST)
Educational Qualification: (i) A post graduate degree in Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc.), (ii) At least 8 (eight) years’ experience in field in eradication of disease, (iii) At least 4 (four) years’ experience in disease investigation and eradication works, (iv) At least 4 (four) years’ experience in a biological production centre, (v) At least 2 (two) years’ experience as head of the office and D.D.O. in any of the above capacities or separately, (vi) Knowledge of Bengali/Nepali and English – spoken & written & (vii) Registration with the West Bengal Veterinary Council
Age: maximum 52 years.
4. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR UNDER ANIMAL RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT (FODDER)
Number of Vacancies: 3 Nos. (SC—2; ST—1)
Educational Qualification: (i) A degree in Agriculture or a degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from a recognized University & (ii) 5 (five) years’ experience in field in rural areas or large livestock farms including experience in production and development of fodder. Desirable: Post Graduate degree in Agriculture or in Veterinary Science.
5. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR UNDER ANIMAL RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT (ADMN./C&DD/ MANAGEMENT/ SA)

6. VETERINARY OFFICER IN WEST BENGAL ANIMAL HUSBANDRY & VETERINARY SERVICE (A.H. WING)
Number of Vacancies: 36 Nos. (SC—29; ST—7)
Educational Qualification: (i) Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B. V. Sc. & A.H.) or Veterinary Science (B.V. Sc.) from a recognized University/Institute or any other qualification as mentioned in the First and Second Schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act. 1984 (52 of 1984) & (ii) Registration with a Veterinary Council established under any statute of the State government or the Government of India.
Age: Maximum 32 years.
7. HEAD MASTER IN WEST BENGAL EDUCATION SERVICE (MEN’S BRANCH)
Number of Vacancies: 18 Nos. (SC—4; ST—1; OBC-A—1; OBC-B—2)
Educational Qualification: (i) Second class Master degree of a recognized university or equivalent, (ii) First class Bachelor degree in teaching/education of a recognized university or equivalent, (iii) 10 years’ teaching experience in recognized secondary schools and good power of expression in Bengali – spoken and written.

Educational Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Desirable: One year’s Post-Graduate practical training or study or research or practical engineering experience.
Age: Maximum 32 years.
9. ASSISTANT TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORTATION ENGINEER
Number of Vacancies: 4 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering with High Way Engineering or Transportation Engineering as a subject from a recognized University or equivalent. Desirable: One year’s post graduate practical training or study or research or practical engineering experience in the field of Transportation Planning / Traffic Engineering / Town and Regional Planning.
Age: Maximum 32 years.

Rs.210/- is to be paid in form of Indian Postal Order, crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, or by a receipted Challan from a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”. The Postal Orders should be made payable at G.P.O., Kolkata.
