1. Principal: 46 Nos. (Gen-20; SC-13; ST-4 & OBC-08)
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree / M.Ed. Ph.D. Degree in relevant discipline.
Associate Professor/Professor with relevant experience. See officially released advertisement for more details.
Age Limit: 40 to 55 years as on 01.01.2015.
Pay Scale: Rs.37400/- to Rs.67000/- and Grade Pay Rs.10000/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
2. Head Master: 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: 2nd Class Master’s Degree with Honours Degree AND 5 years teaching experience in respective post and ability to teach in English Medium.

3. Senior Scientific Officer, Foot Print Section: 01 Nos (ST)
Educational Qualification: 2nd Class Master’s Degree in Anthropology with specialization in Physical Anthropology and 5 years experience in Foot Print Section.
OR Degree in Science with Anthropology as one of the subjects and 7 years experience in Foot Print Examination.
Desirable: Experience of work in a recognized Forensic Science Laboratory.
Age Limit: No more than 35 years as on 01.01.2015.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600/- to Rs.42000/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.5400/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
4. Assistant Engineer (Agri-Mechanical): 21 Nos. (Gen-12; SC-04; ST-02 & OBC-03 Nos.)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering.
Desirable: 1 year’s Post Graduate practical training or study or research or practical engineering experience.
Age Limit: Not more than 32 years as on 01.01.2015.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600/- to Rs.42000/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.5400/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
5. Assistant Botanist: 02 Nos. (Gen-01 & SC-01)
Educational Qualification: 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture & 1st Class Master’s Degree in Genetics & Plant Breeding/Plant Physiology/Agricultural Botany/Botany/Seed Science & Technology.
Desirable: Knowledge of Agricultural conditions in West Bengal.
Age Limit: Not more than 35 years as on 01.01.2015.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600/- to Rs.42000/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.5400/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
6. System Analyst: 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: 1st Class MCA/B.E./B.Tech with 60% marks & specialization in Computer or Computer related areas and 2 years experience in System analysis & Design, and independent project handling.
OR 1st class M.Sc. in Computer Science with 60% marks and 5 years experience in System Analysis & Design and independent project handling.
Age Limit: Not more than 35 years as on 01.01.2015.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600/- to Rs.42000/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.6600/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
Note: The candidates should have the ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required in the case of Nepali speaking candidates of the three Hills sub-division of Darjeeling District unless mentioned otherwise against any particular post).
Age Relaxation: Age mentioned above will be counted as on 01.01.2015. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years, OBC is 3 years, PWD is 10 years and others as per govt. norms.
Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Screening Test/Written Test and Interview. Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated in due course.
