Probation Cum After Care Officer
Under the Department of Correctional Administration, Govt. of W.B. in West Bengal General Service. The post is temporary but likely to be permanent.
Number of Vacancies: 02 Nos. [OBC(A)— 01; OBC(B)— 01]
Educational Qualification: Degree of recognized University or its equivalent Administrative experience or social welfare works for at least two years
Note: Candidates must have ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (Not required for Nepali speaking candidates from the Hill areas of the District of Darjeeling unless mentioned otherwise)
Age Limit: Between 30 and 40 years as on 01.01.2014.
The benefits of reservation of vacancies and upper age concession upto 3 years are admissible only to O.B.C.-A & O.B.C.-B candidates of West Bengal. Such benefits are also available upto 45 years for Persons with Disabilities.
Pay Scale: Rs.9000 — Rs.40500 with Grade Pay: Rs.4,400/- plus other allowances as per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Interview. Commission may opt for Screening Test if the number of application received is large in numbers. See officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates selected for the post will be on probation for 02 years.
Application Fee: Rs.160/- is to be paid either through online mode or through Bank Counter by means of challan. Online payment can be made with Debit/Credit card or Net banking.
