MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST (X-RAY) GRADE-III
No. of Vacancies: 08 Nos. (UR-04, SC-02, ST-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification:
(i) Passed Higher Secondary Examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
(ii) Two year Diploma Course in Radiography (Diagnostics) DRD (Tech.) recognized by the Government of West Bengal.
iii) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not applicable to candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).
Desirable: One year training after acquiring Diploma in Radiography (Diagnostics) DRD (Tech.) in any Government Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment.
OR Post- Graduate Diploma in Radiography (Diagnostics) DRD (Tech.) from any recognized University.
Age Limit: Maximum 39 years as on 01.01.2018
Pay Scale: Rs.7, 100 – Rs. 37,600/- with Grade pay of Rs. 3,600/-
The vacancies are in the Directorate of ESI (MB) Scheme under the Labour Department, Govt. of West Bengal.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST of W.B, 03 years for OBC of W.B and for PWD category as per norms.
SC/ST Category candidates of states other than West Bengal will be treated as General Category candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Screening Test/Written Test and Interview.
