PSPCL Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:

Assistant Sub Station Attendant (ASSA):

• You should have completed a full-time course in ITI/ Electrical/ Electrician/ Wireman with at least 60% marks. Also, you should have two years of apprenticeship experience in PSEB (now PSPCL).
  OR
• You should have completed a full-time Regular Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 60% marks.
  OR
• You should have completed a full-time Regular Diploma in Electronics and Communication with 60% marks.
  OR
• You should have completed a full-time Regular Diploma in Instrumentation and Process Control with 60% marks.

Test Mechanic:

Matriculation means finishing school till 10th grade. A two-year craftsman course teaches skills for jobs like being an electrician or fixing instruments like meters. This course is from an institute called ITI.

Knowledge/Qualification of Punjabi:

Qualification/Knowledge of Punjabi is essential for all posts. For this purpose, the candidates must have passed Punjabi of at least Matriculation or its equivalent level.

Age Limit

Candidates age should be between 18 years to 37 years old as of 01.01.2024 to be eligible for these posts. Age relaxation will be as per Govt. of Punjab instructions.

How to Apply for PSPCL Recruitment 2024

Candidates will apply online through the PSPCL website in English only. Any other mode/mode of submission of application including manual/paper will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Candidate must have a valid personal mobile number and personal e-mail ID. These should be kept active throughout the recruitment process. Registration numbers will be sent to this registered mobile/email after the completion of the registration process. Communication for document verification or any other communication will be sent through a registered e-mail ID and uploaded on the PSPCL website.

Registration for Online Application Form:

1) Please visit the PSPCL website www.pspcl.in and click on the “Recruitment” tab on the website home page and then click on – “Recruitment for the post of Assistant Sub Station Attendant and Test Mechanic in PSPCL against CRA305/24” and then “ Click on the link to apply for online recruitment of Assistant Sub Station Attendant and Test Mechanic in PSPCL against CRA305/24” and follow the instructions there.

2) Select CRA then click on ‘New Registration’ (for first-time registration) or ‘Registered Candidate’ (if already registered).

3) New Registration Part-1: Enter Post Applied and other details like Name Date of Birth (DOB), Father’s Name, Mobile Number Email ID, etc.

4) New Registration Part-2: Verify OTP received on registered e-mail ID and mobile number.

5) After successful verification, on the next screen, fill in all the required details in the online application form (including photograph and signature).

6) Before submitting his/her Step-I details, accept the terms and conditions and self-declaration by clicking on the checkbox.

7) Candidates who have appeared in the requisite qualifying examination but are awaiting the result should enter the column ‘Expected Result’: ‘Passer Year’. However, the candidate must possess the required qualifications by the last date of registration/submission of the online application.
