Educational Qualification: A degree of a recognized University.
Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali)

 

Age Limit: 21 – 36 years

 

Pay Scale: Rs.32000 — Rs.150000

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable for S.C., S.T. & B.C. (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates of West Bengal, by 5 years for S.C. & S.T. candidates and by 3 years for B.C. (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates. In the case of Persons with Disabilities (PWD), the upper age limit is relaxable upto 45 years. S.C./S.T./B.C. candidates of other States shall be treated as general candidates.

NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST CANDIDATES OF WEST BENGAL AND PWD CANDIDATES.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION WEST BENGAL AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
