1. STAFF NURSE
No. of Vacancies: 55 Nos.
Region wise vacancies:
i) Puducherry & Karaikal region (Having knowledge of Tamil): 52 posts (UR-26, OBC-17, SC-09)
ii) Mahe region (Having knowledge of Malayalam): 03 posts (UR-02, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: H.Sc. examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.
Degree or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery / Psychiatric Nursing or its equivalent from a recognised institution and Registration as a Nurse and Midwife or equivalent in any State Nursing Council in India.
Knowledge of the regional language of Tamil or Malayalam.
NOTE – Candidates who are Native / Residents of the Union Territory of Puducherry are only eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Between 18 years to 32 years as on 03/10/2017.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in Educational Qualification and knowledge of the regional language of Tamil or Malayalam.
Candidates from other States / Union Territories are not eligible to apply for the post.
