SUB-INSPECTOR (MALE / FEMALE) DISTRICT POLICE CADRE
No. of vacancies: 430 Nos. (Male: (Gen-127, SC/ST-52, BC-24, FF-02); Female :(Gen-139, SC/ST-57, BC-27, FF-02)
Educational Qualification: Graduation or its equivalent.
Candidate must have passed matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory/elective subjects.
Physical Standard: Height: (i) Male- 5.7 inches; (ii) Female- 5.3 inches.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-28 years as on 01/01/2016.
Pay Scale: Rs.10300/- Rs.34800/- and Grade Pay Rs.4600/- and other allowances.

INTELLIGENCE ASSISTANTS (MALE /FEMALE) IN INTELLIGENCE CADRE

Educational Qualification: Graduate with ‘O’ level certificate of Information Technology or its equivalent OR B.Sc/B.Tech./BE in Information Technology or Computer Science or Information system or B.C.A. or Post Graduate diploma in Computer Application.
Candidates must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language.
Physical Standard: Height — (i) Male- 5.5inches ; (ii) Female-5.1 inches
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-28 years as on 01/09/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.10300/- Rs.34800/- and Grade Pay Rs.3200/- and other allowances
Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.500/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ST/BC candidates) as Application Fee. Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Measurements, Physical Efficiency Test and Written Test.
