Number of Vacancies: 101 Posts.

- Punjab Civil Service (Executive Branch): 16 Nos.
- Deputy Superintendent of Police: 18 Nos.
- Excise & Taxation Officer: 23 Nos.
- Tehsildar: 09 Nos.
- Food Supply and Consumer Affairs Officer: 04 Nos.
- Block Development & Panchayat Officer: 10 Nos.
- Assistant Registrar Co-Operative Societies: 11 Nos.
- Labour –cum- Conciliation Officer: 01 No.
- Employment Generation and Training Officer: 01 No.
- Deputy Superintendent Jails / District Probation Officer (Grade-II): 08 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. The Candidates must have passed Punjabi of matric or its equivalent standard. Candidates appearing final year may also apply but such candidates will require to produce proof of passing the degree during Main Competitive Examination during that year.
Age Limit:
For the post of Deputy Superintendent Police in Punjab Police Services and Deputy Superintendent Jails/ District Probation Officer (Grade-II) in Punjab Prisons Service, a candidate should have attained the minimum age of 21 years and should not have attained the age of 28 years as on 01/01/2015
For rest of all posts – Minimum 21 years but should not have attained the age of 37 years as on 01/01/2015.
Upper age relaxation for reserved categories of Punjab will be as per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Punjab State Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination (PSCSCCE) – 2015. Examination will be in two stages, i.e. Preliminary Examination and Main Examination. Candidates who will qualify the Preliminary Examination will sit for Main Examination.
