Punjab & Sind Bank, as per Advt.No. PSB/PO/I/Recruitment- 2012-13, is recruiting 900 persons for the post the “Probationary Officers”. Candidates who have qualified in Common Written Examination for Probationary Officers/ M. Trainees conducted by IBPS in 2011 and have a valid scored card may apply. Brief details below—
1. Probationary Officers— Scale- JMGS-I
Vacancies: 900 Nos. (Gen-416; OBC-222; SC-123; ST-139), out of which 38nos. for PWD candidates
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in aggregate. Candidates should have achieved the (declaration of result) on or before 1/7/2011.
Requirement—Valid score card issued by IBPS for CWE—2011. Preference will be given to the candidates who have computer knowledge.
Pay Scale: Rs.14500—Rs.25700
Age limit: between 21yrs to 30yrs as on 1/7/2011. Age relaxation—OBC-3yrs, SC/ST-5yrs, PWD- 10yrs and others—as per norms.

Before submitting the online application form, deposit the Application fee of Rs.200 (Rs.50 for SC/ST and PWD candidates) in cash to any CBS branch of Punjab & Sind Bank with the Fee payment challan.

After depositing the Application Fee revisit the bank’s website and submit the Online Application form. Right after successful submission of application form; a system generated Application with Unique Registration No. will appear on the screen. Candidates are advised to make print-out copy of the system generated application form and retain for further use.
There is no need to send any documents by post to the bank’s website. All the required documents, fee payment challan and print-out application will need to produce during Interview.
Selection will be made on the basis of performance in CWE conducted by IBPS and Interview. interview will be 100 marks out of which 40% marks is qualified marks (35% for SC/ST and OBC). Qualified candidates will be on probation for two years from the date of joining.
Call Letter for Interview: Bank will send the Call letter only to the eligible candidates only through e-mail or can be downloaded from the bank’s website. No communication will be made by post; therefore candidates should mention their valid e-mail id. The date and venue of Interview will be intimated later.
