Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) is recruiting 1000 candidates for the post of “Lineman” purely on contract basis from the eligible candidates who meets the norms laid below. Reservation of vacancies: General— 500; SC/Mazbi/Balmiki— 125; SC/Others— 125; BC—120; Ex-Servicemen— 70; PH—30; Sportsperson—20; Freedom Fighter—10)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent pass AND National Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman Trade.
Preference will be given to those candidates who have done 02 years Apprenticeship in PSPCL/ PSTCL or erstwhile PSEB. If above candidates are not available, the other candidates having Two Years Apprenticeship in the trade of Lineman from any other State/ BBMB etc. will be considered.
Language Proficiency — Candidates must have studied Punjabi as a subject atleast upto Matric standard.
Age Limit: Between 18yrs to 39yrs as on 01-01-2014. Upper age relaxation for reserved candidates is as per Punjab Govt. norms.
Emoluments: Rs.10,000/- per month (lumpsum)

Application Fee: The Candidate is required to deposit the fee of Rs.350 (including bank charges) in any Branch of State Bank of Punjab.
PWD candidates are required to pay only Rs.200/- (including bank charges) as Application Fee whereas SC candidates shall pay Rs.125/- (including bank charges) as Application Fee
The fee payment is to made by means of Fee Payment Bank Challan. The Bank Challan will be generated automatically upon submission of online Application form. Candidates must print-out it and shall approach the nearest branch.
During online Application form, candidates will also require to upload scan copy of passport image and signature.
After successful submission of online Application form, the system generated Registration slip with unique Registration No. will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it and must retain it safely for future correspondence. Do not send any print-out to PSPCL.
