1. Sub Assistant Engineer (Civil): 05 posts. [Gen—2; ST(EC)—1; SC—1; OBC(B)—1]
Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering
Pay Scale: Rs.9000—40500 and Grade Pay: Rs.4400/- plus other allowances as per norms.

 

2. Stenographer: 2 posts [ST—1; SC(EC)—1)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree and ability to take dictation at the speed of atleast 80 words per minute in English / 70 words per minute in Bengali and Typing speed at 40 words per minute in English/ 30 words per minute in Bengali.
Pay Scale: Rs.7100—37600 and Grade Pay: Rs.3600/- plus other allowances as per norms.

 

3. Laboratory Assistant: 1 post (Gen)
Qualification: Degree in Science with Physics as one of the subjects. One year working experience is desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs.7100—37600 and Grade Pay: Rs.3600 plus other allowances as per norms.

 

4. Data Entry Operator: 1 post (GEN)
Qualification: Madhyamik or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate. Computer course of atleast 3 months duration and shall possess minimum speed of Data Entry 6000 key depression per hour. One year working experience is desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2600 plus other allowances as per norms.

 

5. Accountant: 1 post (Gen)
Qualification: B.Com (Hons.) with 50% marks
Pay Scale: Rs.7100—37600 and Grade Pay: Rs.3900 plus other allowances as per norms.

 

6. Lower Division Assistant: 5 posts. (Gen—3; SC—2)
Qualification: Madhyamik or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate. Typewriting knowledge is desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.3900 plus other allowances as per norms.

 

7. Assistant Cashier: 1 (Gen)
Qualification: Madhyamik or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate
Pay Scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2600/- plus other allowances as per norms.

 

8. Work Assistant: 1 (Gen)
Qualification: Madhyamik or equivalent with 50 marks in aggregate
Pay Scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2600/- plus other allowances as per norms

 

9. Typist: 1 post (Gen)
Qualification: Madhyamik or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate
Pay Scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2600/- plus other allowances as per norms

 

10. Group-D Employees: 8 posts (Gen—3; SC—2; ST—1; OBC-B(EC)—1; Ex-Servicemen—1)
Qualification: Class VIII pass
Pay Scale: Rs.4900—16200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1700 plus other allowances as per norms.

 

11. Khalasi: 1 (Gen)
Qualification: Class VIII pass and must have knowledge of reading and writing in Bengali with working knowledge in English. Candidates should have good physique.
Pay Scale: Rs.4900—16200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1700 plus other allowances as per norms.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01-01-2014. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 10 years for PWD- Un-reserved (UR), 13 years for PWD-OBC(Non-Creamy Layer) and 15 years for PWD-SC/ST candidates.
The benefit of age relaxation will be applicable to SC/ST/OBC candidates of West Bengal state only. SC/ST/OBC candidates of other States will be treated as General candidates.

 

The engagement of the candidates will be initially made on temporary basis. Selection of the candidates will be through an Open Competitive Examination to be conducted by the District Level Selection Committee, Purba Medinipur Zilla Parishad.
