Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 23 posts of Electronics & Communication Engg., Computer Sc. & Engg., Mechanical Engg., Aeronautical Engg. and Electrical Engg against vacancies under Special Recruitment Drive. DRDO, RAC INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 23 POSTS OF “SCIENTIST B” (SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE). LAST DATE — 10/04/2015

 

1. Electronics & Communication Engg: 6 Nos. (SC—1; ST—3 & OBC—2)
Educational Qualification: First Class Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication Engg.
Desirable: Knowledge of German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese.

 

2. Computer Sc. & Engg: 4 Nos. (SC—1; ST—1 & OBC—2)
Educational Qualification: First Class Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Sc. & Engg.
Desirable: Knowledge of German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese.

 

3. Mechanical Engg: 8 Nos. (SC—2; ST—2 & OBC—4)
Educational Qualification: First Class Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical Engg.
Desirable: Knowledge of German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese.

 

4. Aeronautical Engg: 3 Nos. (ST—1 & OBC—2)
Educational Qualification: First Class Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology in Aeronautical Engg.
Desirable: Knowledge of German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese.

 

5. Electrical Engg: 2 Nos. (SC—1 & ST—1)
Educational Qualification: First Class Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electrical Engg.
Desirable: Knowledge of German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese.

 

Age Limit: Maximum 31 years (for OBC) and 33 years (for SC/ST) as on closing date of advertisement. The upper age relaxation for Central Civilian govt. Employees is 5 years and PWD/Ex-Ser as per govt. norms.

 

Application Fee: OBC candidates shall pay Rs.50/- through online mode payment system. See officially released advertisement for more details.
No Fee for SC/ST/PWD and Female candidates.

 

Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Interview. Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated in due course.
Candidates should advise to bring the printout of online application form along with other original documents for verification at the time of Interview.
