Rail Wheel Factory, under Ministry of Railways, is inviting application from the eligible candidates to undergo training as Trade Apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 for the year 2015-16. Total vacancies 192 Nos. Trades – Fitter, Machinist, Electrician, Mechanic (Motor Veh), Turner, Electronic Mechanic and CNC Programming cum Operator. RAIL WHEEL FACTORY INVITES APPLICATION FOR 192 Nos. TRADE APPRENTICES FOR THE YEAR 2015-16. LAST DATE — 15/07/2015

 

Trade Apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act 1961. Name of the Trades and No. of vacancies are as follows —
1. Fitter: 85 Nos. (UR—43; SC—13; ST—6; OBC—23)
2. Machinist: 31 Nos. (UR—16; SC—5; ST—2; OBC—8)
3. Electrician: 18 Nos. (UR—9; SC—3; ST—1; OBC—5)
4. Mechanic (Motor Vehicle): 08 Nos. (UR—4; SC—1; ST—1; OBC—2)
5. Turner: 5 Nos. (UR—3; SC—1; ST—0; OBC—1)
6. Electronic Mechanic: 22 Nos. (UR—11; SC—3; ST—2; OBC—6)
7. CNC Programming-cum-Operator, (COE Group): 23 Nos. (UR—12; SC—3; ST—2; OBC—6)

Note: From the total number of vacancies, i.e. 192 Nos., 3% of seats are reserved for PWD and 3% seats are reserved for Ex-Servicemen and their children. See officially released advertisement for more details.

 

Educational Qualification: Passed Matriculation Examination with Science (Physics & Chemistry) or its equivalent or 10th Class Pass under 10 plus 2 system.
AND must possess ITI (NCTVT certificates only) in any one of the designated trades specified above from a recognised Industrial Training Institute.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 15 years and not more than 24 years as on 01/07/2015. The upper age limit can be relaxed by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years in case of OBC candidates.

Selected candidates will be go training for a period of one year for all the above said trades except COE Group trade. For the COE Group trade of CNC Programming-cum-Operator, the training period will be of 06 months.

 

Stipend: During training period of one year/06 months training trainees will be paid stipend of Rs.9909/- or Rs.8808/- per month as the case may be.

 

Selection of the candidates will be through Test/Written Test, Physical fitness/Medical Test, as applicable.
