Under Ministry of Defence, Ordnance Factory, Raipur, Dehradun, is recruiting 22 persons for the posts in Semi-Skilled grades in the trades of—Fitter, Opt Worker, Turner, Miller, Millwright, Carpenter and Welder. Application can be made on plain A4 size paper along with D.D. of Rs.50. details below—

1. Fitter (Inst): 9 Nos. (Gen-9)
2. Opt Worker: 3 Nos. (SC-1; ST-2)
3. Turner: 2 Nos. (ST)
4. Miller: 3 Nos. (Gen-1; SC-1; OBC-1)
5. Millwright: 1 Nos. (Gen)
6. Carpenter: 2 Nos. (Gen)
7. Welder: 2 Nos. (Gen)
Out of the total No. of vacant posts; reservation kept for PH—2nos and Ex-Serviceman—7nos.
Required Qualification: Madhyamik pass or its equivalent and must have passed Trade Certificate/ Diploma Course from ITI or National Council of Trades for Vocational Training Certificate in relevant trade.
Age limit: between 18yrs to 32yrs as on last date of form submission. Age relaxation for OBC—3yrs, SC/ST—5yrs, PH—10yrs and others—as per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay—Rs.1800.
Candidates will be selected through Written Test and Trade Test. Written Test will be Objective types of 100 marks and Trade Test on relevant trades will be of 100 marks. Syllabus of Written test will of NCTVT Examination syllabus and Trade Test will be as per trade test specification of the Semi-Skilled Grade.
Date and venue will be informed later through call letters. The no. of vacant posts may increase of decrease on basis of decision made by the factory.
How to apply: Prepare the Application form as per given format on plain A4 size paper and should reach the below mentioned address. Along with application form, candidates should enclosed the following attested copies of documents—
- Application fee of Rs.50 in form of Demand Draft or IPO in favour of—“General Manager, Ordnance Factory Dehradun”. SC/ST /PH and Ex-Serviceman do not need to pay application fee.
- 3 Nos. recent passport size photographs with Self-Attested (One copy paste on application form and two copies as enclosures.)
- Attested copies of Age proof certificate, Caste certificate, qualification certificates, Trade course certificate/diploma and any other relevant documents. (Attestation should be made by Gazetted Officers only)
