Recruitment of 57 Stipendiary Trainee in Raja Ramanna Centre for Advance Technology.

Under Central Government of India, Department of Atomic Energy—Raja Ramanna Centre For Advance Technology is recruiting 57 Nos. “Stipendiary Trainee (Category-I & Category-II)”. Recruitment will be in the following Discipline and Trade—Physics, Mechanical, Electronic, Instrumentation, Machinist, Miller, Fitter, Turner and Laboratory.

Vacancies and Qualification required on basis of Categories and Trades/Discipline—
CATEGORY-I . VACANT POST: 30 NOS. (GEN-14; OBC-6; SC-5; ST-4; HEARING HANDICAPPED-1)
Discipline
1. Physics: 14 Nos. (Post Code-1)
Qualification: B.Sc with 60% marks. Candidates should have Physics as principal subject and Mathematics/Chemistry/Statistics/Electronics/Computer Science as Subsidiary Subjects.
2. Mechanical: 6 Nos. (Post Code-2)
Qualification: Higher Secondary Pass with minimum 60% marks and have done Engineering Diploma Course on Mechanical, Electronics or Instrumentation.
3. Electronics/Instrumentation: 10 Nos. (Post Code-3)
Qualification: Same as the above post of Mechanical

CATEGORY-II. VACANT POST: 27 Nos. (GEN-16; OBC-4; SC-2; ST-4, HH-1)
Trades—
1. Electronics/Instrumentation: 10 Nos. (Post Code-1)
Qualification: Higher Secondary passed with subjects- Mathematics and Science and may have acquired 60% marks in total. Candidates should have done Electronics or Instrumentation Trade Certificate course from I.T.I.
2. Machinist/Miller: 2 Nos. (Post Code-2)
Qualification: Higher Secondary passed with subjects- Mathematics and Science and may have acquired 60% marks in total. Candidates should have done Machinist or Miller Trade Certificate course from I.T.I.
3. Fitter: 11 Nos. (Post Code-3)
Qualification: Higher Secondary passed with subjects- Mathematics and Science and may have acquired 60% marks in total. Candidates should have done Fitter Trade Certificate course from I.T.I.
4. Turner: 2 Nos. (Post Code-4)
Qualification: Higher Secondary passed with subjects- Mathematics and Science and may have acquired 60% marks in total. Candidates should have done Turner Trade Certificate course from I.T.I.
5. Laboratory: 5 Nos. (Post Code-5)
Qualification: Higher Secondary passed with subjects- Mathematics, Science and Biology and may have acquired minimum 60% marks in total may apply for the post.
OR Higher Secondary passed with subjects- Mathematics, Science and Chemistry and may have acquired 60% marks also apply only if they have done Laboratory Trade Certificate Course from I.T.I.

N.B.: for all the posts under Category-II; the ITI/NCVT qualification should be either of the following two- (1)  ITI/NCVT put together of not less than 2 years  OR (2) ITI of one year duration Plus one year relevant  experience after completion of the course.

For all the given above mentioned posts, Candidates who have done M.Sc and Engineering Degree Course pass were not eligible to apply for any post.

Required Age: For Category-I—19yrs to 24yrs and for Category-II—18yrs to 22yrs as on dated 17-10-2011. Age relaxation: OBC-3yrs; SC/ST-5yrs and HH- as per norms.

Physical Measurement: Height—160cm and Weight—minimum 45.5 Kg

Pay Scale:
For Cat-I—beginning first 2 years will be training. Stipend Rs.9300. If selected, job will be given on the post of “Scientific Assistant/ C”. Salary per month will be Rs.9300- Rs.34800.
For Cat-II—beginning first 2yrs will be training. Stipend Rs.6200 (on first year) and Rs.7200 (on second year). If selected, job will be given on the post of “Technician/B” and “Technician/C”. Salary per month will be Rs.5200- Rs.20200

Selection Steps: Candidates will be selected through Written Test which will be of One hour on Objective Types Questions based on syllabus of B.Sc/ Diploma Course. Selected candidates will be called for Interview.

How to Apply: Application can be prepared on plain A-4 size paper as per given format. Along with application enclosed the following Attested Copies of the documents—

  • Madhyamik Certificate
  • Education and Trade Certificate
  • Recent 2 copies passport photo (one copy pasted on the application form and other copy enclosed with the form).
  • Caste Certificate
  • One Self-Addressed envelope (11×10 cm) without any postal stamp

On the top of the application containing envelope, super scribe: “Application for post No….. of Category-I/ Category-II against Advertisement No. RRCAT 1/2011.

Last date: Application should reach within 17th October at the following address—“The Administrative Officer-III, Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, P.O.: CAT, Indore-452013”.
