Rajasthan Police is recruiting 10000 (Ten thousand) Constable for Recruitment- 2012 — Constable (General) and Constable (Driver), for various districts/ Battalion/ Units in Rajasthan State. Eligible and Interested candidates may submit the Online application for the posts. Both males and females were eligible to apply. Qualification requirement and other criteria in brief are given below —
1. Constable (General): 9938 Nos. (Gen—5127; OBC—1923; SBC—100; SC—1490; ST—1102; Saharia: 196 Nos.

2. Constable (Driver): 62 Nos. (Gen—24; OBC—5; SC—15; ST—7; Saharia—11)

Qualification Required: For District Police — Secondary or Class 10 pass or equivalent from recognised board. Class VIII pass candidates may apply for posts in R.A.C/ MBC Batallion.
Pay scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade pay: Rs.1900 per month.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 23yrs (for Constable General) and between 18yrs to 26yrs for Constable (Driver). Upper age relaxation is as per norms.
Physical Standard:—
Height: 168 cms (for males) and 152 cms (for females)
Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded): 81cm/ 86cm (for males). Not applicable for women candidates.
Weight: only for female candidates—minimum 47.5 kg. Not applicable for male candidates.
Cut-off in height and chest for resident of Saharia candidates and other reserved categories is as per Govt. norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination, Physical Efficiency Test and Practical Test (for constable driver).

Reservation: 30% of vacancies are reserved horizontally for Women candidates.
Candidates applying from other States must apply as General Candidates and no relaxation will be applicable to them.
Examination Fee: Rs.30/- only. Fee can be deposited from e-Mitra KIOSK or Common Service Centre.
