Educational Qualification for Accountant and Jr. Accountant: Graduation Degree in Commerce OR CA/ICWA OR MBA (Finance)
Age as on last date of Application: Between 18yrs to 35yrs. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Remuneration/ Salary: Candidates will be initially engaged as “Probationer Trainee” for a period of 02 years and during the period of Probation Training Accountant (PT) will be paid fixed remuneration of Rs. 13,050/- per month and Junior Accountant (PT) will be paid fixed remuneration of Rs. 11,100/- per month.
After successful completion of probation training period, they will be fixed in the Running Pay Band (PB-2) of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade pay of Rs. 4200/- for Accountant and Rs. 3600/- for Junior Accountant.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection will be through Common Written Competitive Examination. Question paper shall consist of objective type questions with 5 options to answer each question. Question paper will be in Hindi and English language. For syllabus details, see the website of respective power sectors.
Application Fee: Rs.500/- for General candidates and Rs.300/- for SC/ST/OBC/ BC/SBC and PH candidates. Candidates must pay the Application Fee through Fee Payment Challan which will be generated automatically during submission of Online Application form.

After final submission of Online Application form (i.e. after fee deposition) the system generated Registration Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it and must retain it safely for future correspondence. There is no need to send any hard copy of application to the Nigam.
