Educational Qualification
- General/Unreserved/General-EWS: Must have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent from a UGC-recognized university.
- OBC-NCL / SC / ST / PwD / Third gender: Must have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree.
- Final Year Students: Candidates pursuing their Master’s or whose result is awaited can also apply provisionally. They must complete their Master’s degree with the required percentage within two years from the date of SET result, failing which they shall be disqualified.
Subject Eligibility
Candidates must appear in the subject of their post-graduation only. If the subject is not in the SET list, they may appear in UGC NET / UGC-CSIR NET.
